Bethlehem, PA - August 23, 2024: The Moravian Academy High School Lion Invitational cross country meet was held this afternoon at Moravian. The event included runners from more than twenty-five different schools in the region. Overall, more than six-hundred boys and girls competed on the day in six different races that included varsity, sub-varsity, and middle school. For almost all the athletes, it was their first official race of the new school year. Unlike some years in the past, the weather was perfect and Moravian Academy hosted a very well run event. The winners of each race were: Virginia Kraus, Saucon Valley HS, Varsity Girls, 17:44; Dylan Boyle, Freedom HS, Varsity Boys, 16:15; Alivia Reiland, Notre Dame Green Pond HS, Sub-Varsity Girls, 22:39; Trey DiGregorio, Central Bucks East HS, Sub-Varsity Boys, 17:58; Katie Kilker, Honesdale HS, Middle School Girls, 10:17; Theo Wechtler, Saucon Valley HS, Middle School Boys, 9:16.
