Bethlehem, PA - September 6, 2023: The Moravian Academy High School girls tennis team hosted Palisades High School. In the sweltering heat, the girls from both teams showed up and battled through the high temperatures. Moravian, led by Francesca Bartollaci, defeated Palisades 5-0. In the singles main event, it was Bartollaci who defeated Palisades' Cora Anderson. Laura Li and Penelope Bromfield were also singles' winners for Moravian. In doubles, the teams of Kanchan Gupta & Sunny Chen and Anika Mehta & Chloe Dahl won their matches for Moravian. Moravian, last years's Colonial League and District XI AA Champions, are halfway through their scheduled twelve matches. They are comfortably atop the Colonial League. Coming up on their schedule is a match against Parkland High School, the 2022 District XI AAA Champions. Moravian is coached by Rick Brown.
