Lehigh v Binghamton

Bethlehem, PA - August 17, 2025: The Lehigh University women’s soccer team competed against Binghamton University Sunday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex. This was Lehigh’s second game of the 2025 season. On August 14th, Lehigh lost 3-0 at the University of Maryland. Today, Lehigh was edged by Binghamton 2-1.


Binghamton scored first in this contest when Paige Luke knocked one in at 4:46. Lehigh answered later in the first period when after Kat Pluck attempted a penalty kick, the rebound was knocked in by Cathryn Cunningham to even the score 1-1. It was Cunningham’s first goal of the season. Binghamton’s Alexus Worell would break the tie early in the second period to give her team the lead for the remainder of the game.


Although Binghamton committed nine fouls, to Lehigh’s one, Lehigh could not capitalize on those infractions. Binghamton also committed two offsides and were given two cautions. Lehigh took seven shots on goal to Binghamton’s six. Lehigh did not have any offsides or cautions.


Lehigh goes on the road to LaSalle University (Philadelphia) on August 20th for their next game. They then travel to NJIT (Newark) on August 27th before returning home against Drexel University on September 4th.
