Lehigh Improves To 9-0

Bethlehem, PA - November 1, 2025: The Lehigh University football team shutout visiting Georgetown University 41-0 Saturday afternoon at Goodman Stadium to remain unbeaten on the season and improve to 9-0 overall. It was Lehigh first shutout since 2009.
Lehigh ran and threw for 371 total yards on offense while the defense held Georgetown to only 90 yards on the ground. The defense had 7 sacks and 2 takeaways, including an interception returned for a touchdown.
Scoring for Lehigh were Jaden Green on a 15-yard run in the 1st quarter, Luke Yoder on a 6-yard run and a 41-yard run in the 2nd quarter, Aidan Singleton on a 26-yard interception return in the 3rd quarter, Geoffrey Jamiel on a 27-yard reception in the 4th quarter, and Derek Morgan on a 9-yard run in the 4th quarter. Lehigh’s Nick Garrido added two extra points, Connor Poole added two, and Canaan Kimball added one.
Lehigh quarterback Hayden Johnson threw for 178 yards and ran for 38 yards. Lehigh’s Yoder ran for 62 yards while Jaden Green added 45 yards to the Mountain Hawk rushing attack. Leading the receiving corps for Lehigh was Jamiel with 5 catches for 72 yards.
On the defensive side for Lehigh, Mekhai Smith recorded 7 tackles while teammate Tyler Ochojski recorded 6 tackles, including 3 sacks.
Lehigh, who is 4-0 in the Patriot League, has three games remaining: Holy Cross at Goodman on November 7, Colgate in Hamilton, NY on November 15, and Rivalry 161 versus Lafayette in Easton, PA on November 22.
