Bethlehem, PA - January 10, 2024: Lehigh University, coming off a road win against Loyola of Maryland, hosted Bucknell University at Stabler Arena for a Patriot League game. Both teams went into the game 1-1 in league play but it was Bucknell who would improve to 2-1 after the 86-80 victory. The teams exchanged the lead early on but it was Bucknell who pulled away in the first half, taking a big 17 point lead into the locker room at the break. The Mountain Hawks fought back in the second half and couldn't be put away. Lehigh was led by Jalen Sinclair (55) who had 20 points and Bube Momah (23) who had 19 points. As a team, Lehigh was 26 for 57 from the field but was only 7 for 20 from 3-point territory; they did out-rebound Bucknell. Bucknell was led by Jack Forest (24) who had 24 points and Josh Bascoe (13) who had 23 points. Bucknell was 27 for 55 from the field, 11 for 22 from 3-point territory, and had 10 steals which led to 20 points.
