Lehigh Defeats Navy

Bethlehem, PA - January 31, 2024: The Lehigh University men's basketball team, looking to avenge a loss to Navy from two weeks ago, hosted the Midshipmen Wednesday night at Stabler Arena. Lehigh lost a close game to Navy on 1/17 in Annapolis by the score of 71-69. This time around, Lehigh took control of the game early and never let up, winning big against the Midshipmen 77-65 on Salute to Service Night. Lehigh, which shot 45% as a team, was led by junior guard Tyler Whitney-Sidney who had 17 points and first year guard Joshua Ingram who had 14 points and 8 rebounds. Besides Whitney-Sidney and Ingram, three additional players scored in double figures, including Dominic Paroli and Bube Momah who had 11 points each, and Cam Gillus who had 12 points. Navy was led by junior forward Mitch Fischer who had 26 points. Navy shot 36% from the field. Lehigh's Bube Momah is shown below going in for a slam dunk early in the game.
