Easton v Parkland Wrestling

Easton, PA - December 11, 2025: In a District XI and Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) matchup Thursday night, the Easton High School Red Rovers hosted the Parkland Trojans at the 25th Street gym where Easton won 34-27 to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Coming into the match, Easton looked to rebound from a tough 32-25 loss to Nazareth High School the night. Meanwhile, Parkland didn’t have as many matches under their belt so far this season. They fell to 0-2 on the season with the loss. They lost to Northampton 36-26 on December 6th.

Parkland started the match with two quick pins and went up early 12-0. Luis Moya at 107 and Braden Todora (114) wasted no time in pinning their opponent in the first period.

Easton rallied and won at 121, 127, 133, and 139. They won a total of 7 of the 13 bouts, 6 of which were bonus point wins. The match stayed close, however, and wasn’t secured by Easton until at 189 pounds where Justin Cosover won by tech foul to put Easton ahead for good (28-24).

At 133 pounds, Easton's Nicholas Salamone caught Parkland’s Matthew Velez in the first period for a fall while at 139 pounds, Easton's Noah Fenner won by decison 8-4 over Jared Santilli.

The most exciting bout of the evening was at 145 pounds where Parkland’s Tycen Norman edged Easton’s Wyatt Snyder 2-1. Norman was behind 1-0 with under a minute left in the bout when he was able to wiggle for a reversal. Norman, with about twenty seconds left, was able to ride out Snyder for the win.
