The win for the Bulldogs improved their overall record to 8-6 and 2-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC Freedom) as they compete once again for a spot in both the MAC Championship and Division III NCAA Championship. Last season, DeSales made it to the MAC final but lost to Stevens Institute of Technology. They were then awarded a bid to play in the NCAA III Championship but lost a first round game to Williams College. Stevens is currently 3-0 in the MAC Freedom.
