Catasauqua, PA - November 23, 2023: Northampton High School won for the 9th consecutive time (47-7) in the 100th annual Thanksgiving rivalry game against Catasauqua at Catty's Alumni Field on Thanksgiving Day. The rivalry has been played since 1925 with the record now at 63-33-4 in favor of Northampton. The Konkrete Kids took the opening kickoff and marched right down the field for the first score. Senior RB Caden Henritzy carried the ball 5 times for 45 yards in that opening drive. The Kids led at the half 28-0 and Henritzy finished the game with 138 yards on 9 carries and 2 TD's, including a 84-yarder in the 3rd quarter. Henritzy's performance led him to take home the MVP trophy as well, capping off a spectacular afternoon for the senior. Senior Hunter Reitz was the MVP for Catasauqua.
